MK HAIR B.T.X treatment is Formaldehyde + Harsh Chemical free, creating a completely safe environment for your customers and staff. The treatment doesn’t produce any bad fumes and smells unlike ordinary keratin treatments, making the application comfortable and completely safe.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Thoroughly wash hair up to 4 times with MK Pre Treatment Shampoo. (look for VERY clean feeling)
2. Dry 80%( fine, damaged, curl retention hair) - 100% ( Coarse/resistant hair ) with a blowdryer.
3. Using an application brush, apply treatment starting from mid length to ends, working up to 1/4 inch away from the roots, evenly spreading and overlapping in each section with a fine tooth comb. ( DO NOT apply directly to scalp )
4. Leave the treatment capped or uncapped for 30-45 minutes for wavy/frizzy/finer hair and 60 minutes for very curly hair/unruly hair.
5. Lightly rinse hair ( NO SHAMPOO ) DO NOT RINSE ENTIRELY.
- Less product left in hair = Less Straightening results *Porous hair rinse 80% (leaving 20% of product in hair)
- More product left in hair = More Straightening *Resistant rinse as much as 50% ( for straightening results leave 80-90% product in hair)
- Repair should always be the focus to our treatments.
6. Blow-dry hair completely 100% using your blow dryer and a round hair brush ensuring a smooth blow dry.
7. Use the MK Flatiron between 365-410°F (finer hair textures) and 450°F/230°C (resistant , non damaged hair only), 5-12 passes on very small sections to properly seal the treatment into the hair cuticles. Iron very small portions of hair for best results.
Adjust temperature/and flat iron passes accordingly to hair texture. (Use your discretion for flat iron temperature and sectioning especially around the hairline. Treatments are meant to be sealed into the hair only.)
8. Finish with MK Hair Serum or Argan Oil.
9. Can wash hair after 24 hours or when desired with BTX Steps - 3 & 4 Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner.
10. Maintain treatment using BTX STEP 3 - 4 Replenishing Shampoo and Conditioner, Masks , and MK Aftercare collections.
Special Note: MK Platinum can be mixed with any MK Treatment to diluted pigmentation, to control warm undertones that can be brought out from the treatments.
